Anniversary Memorial

     Join us in building a piece of history by sponsoring a brick for the 115th Anniversary of the Wayne Volunteer Fire Department and the 125th Anniversary of our “Fire Bell” - forged in 1883. Our new memorial design will replace the current sidewalk west of the fire station and will remain visible for years to come. Brick pavers are a unique way for you to make a lasting mark on your community. Engrave your name, your family name, your fire department or commercial business logo, or buy a brick in remembrance of someone you love as an honored memorial. Your personal brick will be laser engraved with your distinctive text and proudly installed for public display. The patented laser engraving process will ensure that your words will stand the test of time.

     The support of the local community is the life blood of any fire department, but when you donate a brick paver to the project, you are supporting the members of the Wayne Volunteer Fire Department and Auxiliary, past, present and future; expressing your appreciation for their service, dedication, and sacrifice to the community who protect us all, the citizens, on a daily basis.

     A major portion of the funding needed to create this memorial will be raised by the sale of this brick campaign. Your personal engraved brick pavers will be used to border the walkway into the memorial. Brick pavers are available in two sizes, corresponding to your choice of donation.

     Your donation will secure an inscribed brick commemorating your contribution to our project. In addition you may choose to purchase a “mini-brick” (not sold individually); an exact replica of your brick to be used as a personal keepsake for you or as a gift.
